What is the EDP Program?

The Economic Development Partner (EDP) Program is Wakaga’s initiative to collaborate with trusted third-party individuals and organizations who can help us grow our economic footprint. EDPs work with us to identify, refer, or co-develop business opportunities, joint ventures, and contracts that align with our mission of tribal economic self-sufficiency. These partnerships support our sovereign development strategy by unlocking access to new markets, sectors, and funding streams.

This program is not open to the public and is designed for serious professionals with the experience and commitment to help us secure high-impact opportunities. It is built on trust, transparency, and mutual success.

A Partner Program for Success.

Our Economic Development Partner (EDP) Program connects Wakaga with forward-thinking individuals and companies to unlock new business opportunities. Together, we create sustainable ventures that support tribal growth, innovation, and long-term success.

Who Can Become an EDP?

Wakaga welcomes applications from independent professionals, consultants, business brokers, or firms who can bring in credible, high-value ventures. We are especially interested in those with backgrounds in:

  • Government contracting (federal, state, tribal)
  • Renewable energy, infrastructure, or sustainable agriculture
  • IT and technology integration
  • Logistics and supply chain services
  • Commercial finance and investment structuring

All EDPs must undergo a vetting process, demonstrate a history of integrity and performance, and agree to operate in full alignment with Wakaga’s values and tribal protections.

Benefits of Becoming an EDP

EDPs gain access to Wakaga’s vast network, tribal enterprise benefits, and the ability to help structure projects under sovereign protections. Approved EDPs enjoy:

  • Percentage-based success fees or referral compensation
  • The opportunity to bring in deals with faster federal procurement options via tribal 8(a) and direct-award pathways
  • Joint venture potential with Wakaga or its subsidiaries
  • Collaboration with a rapidly growing tribally owned enterprise group
  • Recognition and visibility as a trusted strategic partner

Your success becomes our success—EDPs play a key role in reshaping the future of tribal economies.

Why Choose us?

We combine the power of tribal sovereignty with proven business strategy to deliver unmatched opportunities, accountability, and long-term impact.
