Why the Program Exists

Economic Development Moves Through Trusted Relationships.

The EDP Mission

Help Wakaga find, evaluate, and develop the next qualified commercial opportunity.

A strong opportunity may begin with a manufacturer, commodity supplier, project developer, technology company, logistics operator, financial institution, tribal enterprise, infrastructure specialist, investor, property owner, or experienced professional who has a relationship Wakaga should evaluate.

EDPs provide a disciplined path for those relationships to reach Wakaga. The program is designed to turn credible introductions into documented opportunities, establish roles before work expands, and protect both Wakaga and the originating partner as a project moves through review.

The program is not designed as an open brokerage network or an authorization to make commitments in Wakaga’s name. EDP participation is controlled, documented, revocable, and project-specific.

What an EDP Does

Identify. Connect. Develop. Support.

01

Identify

Surface credible commercial opportunities, counterparties, project concepts, suppliers, buyers, technical resources, and strategic relationships that may fit Wakaga’s economic-development objectives.

02

Connect

Create a clear introduction between Wakaga and the relevant decision-makers while accurately describing the EDP’s limited role and avoiding unauthorized promises or commitments.

03

Develop

Help assemble information, clarify the business case, maintain communication, organize participants, and support due diligence while Wakaga determines whether the opportunity should proceed.

04

Support

For approved projects, remain engaged in the defined role, keep records current, follow Wakaga’s project instructions, and help move the relationship from concept toward execution.

Program resources

Your EDP Email & Workspace

A dedicated partner identity

As part of program activation, Wakaga issues approved EDPs a dedicated partner email address in this format:

username@partners.wakagagroup.com

Issued accounts support approved project correspondence and routine coordination within your assigned role. Account provision and continued access remain subject to Wakaga’s discretion and the Version 7 agreement.

Your place to work with Wakaga

Wakaga Workspace is the portal for applications, controlled documents, project information, and program communications. Access depends on your onboarding stage and approved permissions.

Open Wakaga Workspace

Use the required signature footer and current Wakaga-issued disclaimer. Protect credentials and follow account security rules. A partner email address or Workspace login does not, by itself, authorize commitments on Wakaga’s behalf. Read email and communications rules →

Program Architecture

Wakaga Remains the Institution. EDP Authority Remains Limited.

What the Program Provides

  • a formal partner identity and controlled onboarding process;
  • opportunity submission and project-registry procedures;
  • originator and relationship protection where applicable;
  • project-specific written roles and restrictions;
  • controlled communications, systems, and partner resources; and
  • project-specific economic participation when established by the governing documents.

What EDP Status Does Not Provide

  • authority to bind Wakaga or the Wakpamni Lake Community;
  • employee, officer, tribal-official, franchise, or general-agent status;
  • automatic exclusivity over an industry, account, or territory;
  • automatic project approval or compensation from an introduction;
  • permission to make unapproved public claims, offers, or commitments; or
  • access to Wakaga’s separate government-contracting or grant program.
Government contracting and grants are separate.

The EDP Program is for commercial economic-development activity. Federal or state government contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and similar government-funding activity are handled through Wakaga’s separate government-contracting and grants framework.

Opportunity Lifecycle

A Relationship Becomes a Project Only Through a Controlled Process.

01

Opportunity Identified

The EDP identifies a legitimate commercial relationship or project and gathers enough information for Wakaga to understand the parties, source, scope, value proposition, risks, and current stage.

02

Opportunity Submitted

The opportunity is submitted through Wakaga’s designated process. Submission establishes a review record; it does not itself create project approval, authority, exclusivity, reimbursement, or compensation.

03

Wakaga Reviews

Wakaga may evaluate the parties, legal and commercial feasibility, conflicts, duplicate introductions, financing, compliance needs, capacity, and fit with Wakaga’s priorities.

04

Project Authorized

If Wakaga elects to proceed, the approved scope, project number, participating entity, EDP role, authorized contacts, deliverables, restrictions, and other requirements are documented through the appropriate written authorization.

05

Execution & Reporting

The EDP supports the project only within the approved scope and maintains required communications, disclosures, records, and compliance obligations as the project develops.
