Wakaga Partners with Iecusoft Corporation to Expand Government Contracting and Grant Opportunities

Strategic collaboration will boost local development and drive new funding for community projects

Wakaga —
In a landmark step toward economic expansion and federal partnership success, Wakaga is proud to announce a new alliance with Iecusoft Corporation. This collaboration is focused on accelerating government contracting capacity and securing additional grant funding to support tribal initiatives across the reservation.

Iecusoft, a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and certified Tribal 8(a) enterprise, brings over three decades of combined experience in Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, FEMA, DOJ, and CBP federal contracting. Their expertise in secure infrastructure, broadband project management, and government compliance positions them as an ideal partner for Wakaga’s strategic growth and self-reliance goals.

This partnership will allow Wakaga to engage more competitively in federal contracting, streamline compliance, and unlock new tribal grant opportunities that were previously out of reach. Beyond technical guidance, Iecusoft’s mission aligns with Wakaga’s community-first philosophy—where the benefits of federal programs are reinvested directly into infrastructure, job creation, and local sustainability projects.

“We are excited to work with a partner that not only understands the complex federal landscape but also shares our tribal values and vision,” said a Wakaga representative. “Through this collaboration, we aim to build a robust economic foundation that benefits every household and supports long-term community resilience.”

As the partnership develops, surplus revenue and grant-driven funding will be redirected into projects such as youth education, technology access, health services, and continued expansion of sustainable food systems like the geothermal greenhouses. Wakaga and Iecusoft are united in creating a model of tribal empowerment through innovation, discipline, and federal engagement.
